How to run a Quizzler night

For hosts

  1. 1. Prep a quiz file

    Export or write a quiz JSON, download the example. Include rounds, answers, and optional media.

  2. 2. Open Host

    Go to Host, sign in to the admin panel, and upload your quiz (or use the example).

  3. 3. Two windows

    Open Presentation on the TV / projector, and Host controls on your phone. Players join from Play.

  4. 4. Run the night

    Advance questions from host controls. After each round, review AI scores, override anything wrong, then reveal answers and show the leaderboard.

  5. 5. Afterward

    Finished nights land in Past scores. Link player names so they count on the League table.

For players

  1. 1. Join when it's live

    Open Play, tap the running quiz, and enter a name. Use the same name if you need to rejoin.

  2. 2. Answer on your phone

    Watch the big screen for the question. Submit from your phone — you can usually still edit earlier questions in the round until the host moves on.

  3. 3. Doubles & Ponderous

    In the lobby you can pick doubled rounds. If there's a Ponderous puzzle, guess when that step opens — earlier correct guesses score more.

  4. 4. Follow the league

    Check the League table for crowns, wins, and form across weeks.
